Let me start off by saying Rowowor is not for everyone, but it is an enjoyable and educational game for someone who is new to online word games. This game is a great way to get started if more advanced word games are proving too frustrating or difficult. You can use this game as a fun way to build your vocabulary and learn how to form different words out of the letters you are provided with. This game is a somewhat more basic version of many of the other word games available to you. The graphics are plain so you don't have to worry about being distracted by complicated backgrounds and animated characters. The focus here is entirely on the letters and the words, and that's really what makes it most beneficial. At the same time, more experienced players might find the game a bit too boring. There are really no levels to pass, there is no time limit and the only real goal of the game is to get a high score. If you are an experienced player looking for a challenging, exciting word game, it might be best to try out a different game. If you love trying to reach a high score, are a beginner who needs a slower pace to get the hang of how these games are played or someone just looking to kill a little time, give this game a shot.
The rules of Rowowor are simple and easy to understand. You have seven slots on the game screen. Two of those slots will already have letters in them and you will be given five letters to fill the rest of the slots with. The letter you are currently using will be shown above the slots. On the right side of the screen, you will see the letters you will get next. Keep an eye on those letters and use them to plan your moves. If you will be able to use the letters that are coming up to make a bigger word, place your current letter so as to make sure you can make that bigger word. For example, if you have the letters 'a' and 't' already on the board and you see that you have an 's' coming up, place the 'c' before 'a' and 't' to make the word 'cat'. When 's' comes up, you can place it either before or after the word you've made to form either 'cats' or 'scat'. Choose which slot you want to put the letter in and click on it. If you've made a word, the letters used in the word will turn green. Letters that do not form a word will remain black. The words you have made and the points you earned for those words will be shown at the bottom of the game screen. An important thing to remember in this game is that you can only use a word once throughout the entire game. This means, sticking with the above example, that once you play the word 'cat' you will not be able to play it again. If you make 'scat', however, you could later use the word 'cats' or vice versa.
In Rowowor, the size of the words you make is really what determines how high your score will be at the end of the game. You only lose the game when you are not able to make at least one word, so as long as you make at least a three letter word you will progress to the next level. That definitely isn't the way to get a high score though. If you're shooting for a big number, make the longest words you can. You get 10 points for a three letter word, 25 points for a four letter word, 100 points for a five letter word and 500 points for a six letter word. If you use all of the letters you are given you get an additional bonus of 150 points. The best way to get ahead in this game is really just to watch the letters you have, the letters already placed on the screen and the letters that are coming up in the game. You'll have to use a little bit of logic and planning, but once you get the hang of it you should have no problem getting a high score in this one.
