WORDIT Walkthrough

Wordit is an addictive and engrossing online puzzle game that challenges you to find words to try to get a high score. Each level in both modes of play gets increasingly more difficult; providing an excellent challenge and making the game even more intense. This is the perfect game for any fan or word games regardless of experience or skill level. It isn't as fast paced as other online word games, but it is far from easy. Experienced players looking to put their skills to the test will be able to do just that in this game while newcomers to the genre can use the game to hone their skills for more intense online games. This game allows you to choose the mode of play that will offer you what you are looking for and will give you the best gaming experience.

Wordit is similar to other point and click based word games online in that your challenge is to make words with the letters you are given. The rules are pretty simple and the controls are easy to get the hang of. All you need to do is click the letter and drag it into place to form words that are at least two letters long. You will be forming words both horizontally and vertically so keep an eye on the letters surrounding the word you want to form. If you place a letter to form a word vertically and there are other words surrounding it horizontally, you must be sure the letter you place will add to all of the words. It's basic Scrabble rules, more or less. This game also uses the standard Scrabble dictionary so, in general, any word you would be able to use in Scrabble, you'll be able to use here.

Wordit gives you two modes of play to choose from; Normal Mode and Timed Mode. Which mode you choose will depend on what kind of challenge you are looking for. In Normal Mode you need to use every letter you are given in a word on order to advance to the next round. Words can be used together to make larger words or letter from words you have already created can be used to create new words. When you think you've used all of the letters in valid words, click on the green checkmark at the bottom right of the game screen. If you have used all the letters and all of the words are valid, you advance to the next level. If any of the words aren't valid, you are shown what word or words need to be changed and can then return to the game screen to fix the mistakes. Continue correcting and checking until all the words are right. In this mode, no new letters are added while you are playing so you have only the letters you are given. In later levels, try keeping the letters on one corner of the game screen until they're ready to be used. To make things even more convenient, separate the vowels from the consonants. It takes a little bit of extra time in the beginning, but it will save you a lot of searching throughout the game. This also gives you a good idea of what you have for letters.

In Wordit, Timed Mode is where the real challenge lies. Instead of just trying to make words with the letter you are given at the beginning of the game, new letters are appearing on the board all the time. The rules are the same as in Normal Mode. You are making your words horizontally and vertically and need to be sure you are making words in all directions, but with new letters appearing constantly, this is much easier said that done. Your goal is to get prevent the letters from filling the screen so you can progress to the next level. Each level moves progressively faster so you are in for a difficult game. Newcomers to the game may want to try a few rounds in Normal Mode before attempting Timed Mode. Timed Mode will give even the most experienced players a real challenge.

Overall, Wordit is without a doubt on of the best word games online. Anyone can have fun with this game regardless of their experience in the genre. Experienced players will love the challenge of Timed Mode while beginners will find a good, but skill level appropriate challenge in Normal Mode. The game is difficult and you will likely find yourself getting frustrated but never so much that you want to quit. This is an excellent game that you'll have a blast playing and one that will keep you going back time and time again.
